The Pantalones

pretentiousdick: 2012 NOTABLES Today menswear to me is a lifestyle that is “in the now” but grounded in the classics. This lifestyle stems from the traditional view that was put on men, but now is gender neutral and we find women partaking in the culture as well. I started this blog when I discovered that people who shared my same view of menswear were on the internet and back then I would acknowledge those people on my blog. Not only did they embody my idea of menswear, but their attitude about the whole situation drew me to their blogs and platforms…I called these awesome people Notables, the not so pretentious bloggers. At first, volumes of Notables were issued whenever I felt necessary. Searching for more original content to post to the blog, I began updating Notables weekly. However, new Notables became more difficult to come by and I didn’t want to continuously acknowledge the same blogs. I decided to wait, finish out the year and cultivate a list of Notables that I had discovered over the time.  …so here is the list (in alphabetical order by first name), Including the veterans and newly discovered white peacocks. These men and women know the classics and how to strategically add a modern spin to appeal to me at least and they either have a strong social media presence, great job in the industry or both yet they still manage to interact (most times on a very personally level) with their following and always on a positive note.
