There comes a point, when the air doesn’t feel like death and the temperature starts to rise, where I realize I need to exit my winter hibernation and make my face look somewhat presentable. When it gets cold out, I tend to care less and less about the hair on my head and face, and more about some small advantage in insulation; the result is a scraggly, hobo-like creature that I see in the mirror. Cue the warmth, and with it a clean shave and neat haircut.
Thankfully, the folks over at Old Spice thought that I needed to clean my act up too, and they sent me a bunch of stuff to help me get my spring game in gear. I’m a fan of the simple things, so I like the Pure Sport Shampoo/Conditioner, which smells great and I use basically everyday to wash my hair. After I dry off, I like to throw a little bit of their Spiffy Pomade, a product I just recently tried for the first time, in to tame the wild beasts that are my orange curls. The pomade is nice, because it has a matte finish that doesn’t shine bright like a diamond. It keeps keeps the hair in check, and keeps the hair looking strong.
You can’t be stunting on the internet, job interviews, dates, or basically any real-life situation without strong hair. It’s science.
